Stanley 1913 x Arsenal

Club colours on insulated steel, designed together with Arsenal.

Arsenal moved to Highbury in 1913. William Stanley Jr patented the all-steel vacuum bottle the same year. Two North London afternoons and a Connecticut workshop have nothing to do with one another, and the date on the badge and the date in our name are the same date.

An Arsenal water bottle from this collection stays cold for hours rather than for the first twenty minutes, which over a full day is the whole difference.

Three Colourways

This is the only club collection with three finishes, and they are deliberately not variations on one idea.

Arsenal Red

The club colour, unqualified. If you want the version that reads as Arsenal from across a room, this is it.

Bruised Banana

Named for the away shirt of 1991 to 1993, a yellow kit with a dark zig-zag running through it, and one of the most recognised shirts English football has produced. Supporters gave it the nickname and it stuck for thirty years, which is why the name needs no explaining to anyone who was watching then.

Arsenal Homage

A finish built as a nod backwards rather than a reproduction of any one season. It is the quieter of the three and the one that does not announce itself until somebody looks twice.

Steel, insulation and guarantee are identical across all three. Choose on looks alone, because nothing beneath the colour varies.

Formats and Sizes

A match is a few hours. Getting there, queueing, walking back to the station and the week in between are considerably longer.

Insulated steel is one thing you can settle before you leave the house. Fill a bottle with cold water or an Arsenal coffee mug with something hot, and either is still right at full time.

One Run Only

Made with the club in a single production run. A colourway in a club collection is not repeated once it has sold through, so a particular finish in a particular size is worth ordering early rather than later.
