Carry her story

We’re proud of our ongoing partnership with Nest, a nonprofit that champions makers and artisans in 125 countries. Because when they thrive, their communities thrive. By providing training, resources and opportunities for creators to share their handcraft work, Nest empowers them to grow their businesses. And make our world a more beautiful place.

In celebration of our ongoing partnership, Stanley 1913 has made a $125,000 donation to Nest’s programs to support emerging global creators.

Shanghai, China

Fabriulous was founded by Chengcheng Xu with the goal of elevating local artisans and preserving culture. Each creation incorporates the heritage of Chinese handcraft into modern design.

Freedom Women draws from a symbolic bird of the Miao tribe in the Guizhou region. The lively design reflects the free hearts and creative minds of the craftswomen, while the bold painting style reflects their vitality and character.

Her Symbols, Her Story

Élan Byrd

Miami, USA

Élan’s creativity was nurtured from an early age by her mother, an art teacher. As a multidisciplinary artist and textile designer, Élan embraces the beauty of imperfection and the power of community.

Her Symbols, Her Story celebrates the support within the female collective and what it means to be a woman. Inspired by the earliest forms of communication, Élan’s hand-drawn symbols represent a woman’s courage, strength, intuition, fertility, joy and love.
